BOLERO WIRELESS INTERCOM
On set, you can only work as fast as you can communicate.
Bolero is a wireless intercom system capable of supporting up to 250 beltpacks and 100 antennas in a single deployment. It allows crew to hear precisely what they need to, and with unparalleled audio quality.
Bolero Intercom lets you reach anyone, anywhere, instantly - saving productions time and money.
Everything you need for
on-set intercom.
-
Beltpacks
Bolero Beltpacks have six customizable buttons for simultaneous communication. This allows you to customize reach (the entire crew, key leads, a single department, or just one person) while retaining complete control over who can hear what.
-
Headsets
We offer a range of different headset options to best suit your shoot. Choose from closed-back headsets, lightweight headsets, or wireless bone-conduction headsets - we have the right tools for the job.
-
Tie in to Walkies
We are able to integrate walkies into your intercom, allowing for seamless communication between beltpacks and walkies. This can save you money - key crew can be on beltpacks, while your PA’s could remain on walkies,
What makes intercom better than walkies?
-
You can have your audio mix routed directly through the headset for anyone who needs it, vastly simplifying the workflow for anyone who needs to monitor audio while also communicating. This is particularly great for camera ops, ADs, script supervisors, SFX, and many other departments.
-
You control who can hear whom within a crew, while you never know who’s eavesdropping on walkies. Directors can have private conversations with producers knowing no one else can hear. There is also no chance of nearby productions listening in.
-
Everyone knows the ear fatigue after a long day with a walkie in your ear. Bolero makes that feeling a thing of the past. The sound quality is excellent, allowing even a whisper to be heard clearly.
Bolero Intercom is full duplex, meaning that more than one person can talk at a time, allowing for natural conversation - say goodbye to needing to call out “Open walkie!”
In loud environments or high-tension moments, it can be easy to misunderstand people over walkies - but with Bolero, everything is clear.
-
BoIero beltpack batteries last for 17 hours and will last through an entire shoot day, unlike walkies that can die at a critical moment.
-
Each beltpack not only has its own volume controls, but you can adjust the volume of each channel on each beltpack. You can raise or lower the volume of whoever you want, whenever you want.
-
By pairing the beltpacks with our bone-conduction bluetooth headsets, you can have both ears open and be completely cable-free. This makes sets safer and keeps crews comfortable.
-
Since you can hear everything simultaneously on six different channels, missing vital information by being on wrong walkie channel is a thing of the past.

Bolero transmits on the 1.9 GHZ DECT spectrum, meaning that it will never conflict with camera or audio hardware or anything in the shooting environment.

For the ultimate control room experience, we also provide table-top intercom control panels. These allow for directors to have incredible control over their communications, bringing together every department with perfect clarity.
